Missions of a Consulate
A Consulate is the office of a Consul. It is attached to the state main representation in the (...)
It is common to refer to the Consul as a Consul General. The Consul General typically has one or several Deputy Consuls-General, Consuls, Vice-Consuls and Consular Agents working under him.
The Consuls are usually located in the most important cities of the host countries whereas the Embassies are most of the time based in the capital. In Germany for example many countries have a consulates-general in cities such as Frankfurt and Munich
