A new festival called “Lumière 2010”, appeared in October 2009. This event is entirely dedicated to the history of cinema. It aims to celebrate the anniversary of the film industry. This 6 days event takes place in many cinemas everywhere in “Grand Lyon”. During the week, the Lumière Award is given to a personality to commemorate his work and special relations with the silver screen.
