Chef Bernard Mariller grew up on a farm in Saône and Loire. He has maintained a keen sensibility for the traditions of quality products that come from the land.
Chef Mariller has always been attracted to cooking and after working in the most prestigious French restaurants, Troisgros or Joël Robuchon, he opened his own restaurant in 1991 in Lyon 6éme: Le Gourmet de Seze.
His excellence in the kitchen will be on full display for the 2010 international expat salon on 26 September at the Hilton Cité internationale.

This unique restaurant, Le Gourmet de Seze gives you a feeling of spaciousness like being in a large dining room. However, there are only nine tables in the main room.
The deco, table placement and every detail has been given special attention for one result; to create in this sense of space an intimacy, but more to make you feel like you are in an exclusive place.
The spirit of Le Gourmet de Seze is that of a gracious host who is welcoming a friend to
dine elegantly in comfort. What is important to Chef Mariller is to make connections with people and do everything for them so that they have an unforgivable experience.
He is a member of the prestigious organization of top chefs in the city of Lyon, les Toques Blanches Lyonnaises.
Quality, rigor, seriousness and passion are his motto.
